Transverberation  2018
Spatial drawing   I   VHS magnetic tape, wood, adhesive tape   I   Dimensions variable

For the Church of the Resurrection, the story of the mystical grace granted to St. Teresa became the inspiration for a three-dimensional drawing made of piercing lines which descend from the ceiling to create a from of a dart and spaces in between through which people can walk through as a sort of initiation. The spatial drawing and performance focus on reverberation as a quality of presence. It encompasses the physical and mental aspects of vibration, echo and resonance. Both the drawing and the dance performance by Liza Alpízar Aguilar become the framework to explore these concepts through stimulating and awakening movement and sound.

Transverberation is a contemporary installation exploring intensity, resonance, spiritual energy, and spatial vibration through abstract systems. Keywords: resonance art, energy installation, spatial vibration, conceptual abstraction, immersive art.
