Metatron Set, 2017

Photograms printed on fabric, 40,6 x 50,8 cm

This series is a typology of the different sets of glasses used at the Banff Centre. The premise was to arrange 19 glasses following a radial pattern also known as the flower of life and exposing photographic paper in order to make the invisible visible. After the first imprint the glasses are turned upside down and another photogram is made so that each set produces 2 images. The title of this series is taken from blending Metatron’s Cube + Mandelbrot Set, both of which are based on simple geometric/mathematical principles from which complex form arises.
