A reel of a movie was transferred entirely onto a transparent paper the size of my studio’s door. By pasting VHS magnetic tape onto adhesive tape and then removing it, part of the metal oxide that carries the image is displaced, leaving a fragile residue on the paper and its inverse trace on the mylar. Executed line by line, the process unfolds as a meditative ritual in which the image becomes a passage rather than a representation—a reflection on impermanence, transmission, and the act of disappearance. The drawing is presented as a bifurcated body, a drawing that acts both as imprint and three-dimensional line.
