The series of drawings titled Intermittence is created by pasting into itself at intuitive rhythms the previously processed VHS magnetic tape. This magnetic tape has undergone a process by which certain blocks of coating are removed to reveal the underlying transparent mylar. The resulting shapes when hung evocate structures and forms in nature. These “membranes” blur, appear and disappear depending on the conext light and the movements of the viewer making it hard to grasp in its entirety.
